I remember having to wait until I was 13 to get my ears pierced! It seemed like FOREVER!…
I had my little collection of ‘first studs’ that I had hoarded away ready for the day when those sleeper studs came out and the fun would begin!
I had them stored in a little pale grey velvet jewellery box and when you opened it up there were lots of little sets of shiny studs all waiting to be worn. My favourites were little cast ramshorn shells.
I loved them!

Handmade from resin, all the KAZ studs have silver posts and butterflies.
No plating or nasty metals, which you might find on cheaper studs, are used here thank you!
You need to be kind to those piercings, especially when new!
3. THEY ARE HANDMADE IN SCOTLAND!
It’s good to know that you’re not only buying something gorgeous, but that it’s handmade, and you’re supporting a small responsible business.
Each and every piece of KAZ jewellery is handmade by myself in my wee studio in Edinburgh.
I use UK-based suppliers wherever possible to try and watch that carbon footprint.
All KAZ packaging and promotional material are made from recycled paper (where I can) and most of my packaging can be recycled or reused too!
These studs originally started using leftover parts from larger earrings as I was trying to reduce waste in the studio.
Due to their popularity, I now create these ‘mini studs’ in larger batches. But batching doesn’t mean wasting!
They are still a brilliant way for me to use up any extra resin during the casting process as I can use every last tiny drop!

I don’t make specific Mini Studs to order, so you just need to grab the ones you like when they are available on the website!
Your Mini studs will arrive beautifully wrapped in polka dot tissue paper, in a KAZ pillow box, tied with ribbon.
